Re: PRsonalities Episode 2 – Motion Design, Teamwork & The Gig Economy
Thanks for checking out the latest episode of PRsonalities. This episode was originally broadcast LIVE on Facebook on Sept 12, 2017.
In this episode, we talk about being in business for self in “The Gig Economy,” how to apply your contract skills to a team environment, and why managing your finances will allow you the freedom to take on all sorts of exciting opportunities.
We are pleased to welcome Jullian Ablaza! Jullian Ablaza is a motion graphics designer and director. He has worked on a wide-array of projects from broadcast commercials to digital content, from creating work for VR (Virtual Reality) to music festival animations. Woodland Park Zoo and Emily Story (for Children’s Wish Foundation), which Jullian worked on during his time at a local Toronto studio called “Crush,” have both been recognized for the design and animation work in the industry publication Communication Arts.
Jullian’s found that his most fulfilling achievement has been being able to work in the creative industry; to be able to explore the various technologies associated with motion graphics and design while constantly searching to find the elusive “voice” that defines his work.
